D. Candidates for employment from specialized, MAP approved training programs
For more than 20 years, the Philadelphia area has suffered from a lack of good, practical programs designed to train manufacturing workers. This is why there is such a lack of trained individuals to select from - and our workforce is getting older! MAP has listened to member input and sought out reliable training partners to conduct the kinds of training you tell us you need. These are good, reliable workers who have the kinds of skills you can build on or put to good use right away.

HIRE JOB READY AND HIRE RIGHT - THE FIRST TIME!

The Job Ready Program
A 10 week boot camp designed to provide you with entry level manufacturing workers. Each candidate has enhanced reading and shop math skills, but most importantly - we provide them with foundational skills training. We teach them how to be a good employee; anger management, team building, time management, employee ethics, etc, so you get an employee who has learned what it takes to be part of a team! If they survive our boot camp, these workers have proven work ethic! Every graduate we present to you from a MAP training program will be certified by a rigorous process guaranteed to meet or exceed your requirements. Member manufacturers are involved in the certification process. Any placement fees collected by the association are used to train new candidates and develop new programs requested by you.
